Welcome to the Kim Clark Artistry "KCA" blog! I can't wait to share with you what I've learned and experienced as a freelance makeup artist for over eight years. Well, it won't only be makeup and beauty related but some of the things that I enjoy!
Let me give you a little background. I am a thirty-something, married freelance makeup artist now based in Houston, TX. My roots are in Albany, NY where I grew up with a large family who means the world to me. I was a go-getter from the start, ready to take on any and everything. As early as I can remember, I wanted to become a CEO.
Fast forward to the present day and I find myself falling in love with all things creative, travel, food and helping and educating others! Sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me because there's a range of things that I want to do. But then I remind myself that we are dynamic, ever-changing and multi-layered. We're not made up of just one aspect. Some of us tap into those varying interests while some don't. Whether due to fear, lack of confidence or many other reasons. I've decided, might as well do what you enjoy!
